* All safety alert and notifications such as speed alert, low spped alert etc can be delivered to customers at right time without any delay.

IOT can also be used to make roads safer through alerts and notifications by detecting the accidents and even bad driving. Now many vehicles comes with electronic stability program, ADAS collision warning, ADAS emergency braking and other ADAS features which works through IOT. Through IOT we can monitor driver habits and send recomandations to the driver. Using GPS we can track braking, idling and speeding habits, an alert can be automatically sent alert to them.  This information can help road experts and engineers to devise plans that can alleviate traffic conditions.

IOT can be used for swarm intelligence in traffic which allows traffic operators to coordinate cars in order to reduce congestions. We can see where  common checkpoints are and identify the time and days when the roads are busy.This information can help road experts and engineers to devise plans that can alleviate traffic conditions.

Using IOT,  we can implement phased traffic lights and Smart parking. IOT driven tools have helped to reduce the city's toxic gas emissions. In Jamshedpur. IOT connected streetlights are used to track movements and determine when the street lights are needed and turning it off when they were not in need. This saves a lot of energy. thus energy consumption can be achieved through IOT (Internet of things).
